£17.09 per hour
HOURS:
42 hours 4 on 4 off Nights
THE ROLE:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Security Team Leader to join Amulet Security at a prestigious corporate site in Glasgow.
This role requires a highly professional individual capable of delivering exceptional security services and outstanding customer care. You will lead from the front, ensuring the safety of people, property, and premises while maintaining the highest standards of service delivery.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and supervise the on-site security team on a daily basis
- Oversee security operations across both Head Office and the wider client estate
- Ensure all site duties are completed in line with assignment instructions and company policies
- Conduct threat assessments and respond effectively to incidents
- Manage and support incident response, investigations, and reporting
- Ensure all team members complete required training, including maintaining individual development plans
- Deliver training on client Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Maintain accurate reporting for daily, weekly, and monthly reviews
- Monitor patrol activities and ensure compliance with site requirements
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues effectively
SKILLS:
- Proven experience in a supervisory or team leader role within the security industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and general systems use
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, including reporting, investigations, and team coordination
- Experience in high-demand environments (e.g. corporate security, control centres, airports, or similar)
- Professional, confident, and customer-focused approach
- High level of reliability and dependability
- Flexible and adaptable to operational needs
LICENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
- CCTV Licence (desirable but not essential)
- Minimum 3 years’ supervisory experience
- 5-year UK address history
- High level of IT literacy
- Full UK driving licence
INTERVIEW REQUIREMENTS:
- Eligibility documents needed at interview: Passport or Full Birth Certificate; Utility Bill showing current address and dated within 3 months; Proof of National Insurance (Payslips cannot be used) such as NI card, P45, P60, benefits or HMRC letter.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- You must be able to provide a checkable 5-year employment and address history for vetting purposes (this can include full-time education or periods when claiming benefits).
