Security Team Leader

PAY RATE:

£12.28 per hour

WORKING PATTERN:

4 on 4 off 07:00-19:00

THE ROLE:

A great opportunity has arisen for a Security Team Leader to join our team. You will be responsible for overseeing the site activities ensuring safety, security and smooth operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Managing a team of 6 staff per shift
• Ensuring all KPI’s are met
• Uploading KPI paperwork to the Service Channel app
• Liaising with staff, visitors & contractors
• Managing incidents
• Responding to First Aid incidents on site
• Working in the control room
• Organising daily paperwork for the team
• Logging HGV’s leaving site, checking seals and completing VIPER tests
• Ensuring reports are completed correctly on a daily basis
• Managing gatehouse officers

SKILLS:

• Good communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Good working knowledge of Word, Outlook & Excel
• Ability to lead, manage and develop colleagues and build effective relationships, to unite, motivate and direct a team towards individual and common objectives
• Ability to demonstrate decision making skills with safety as a priority.
• Problem solving skills.
• Ability to organise and plan effectively

LICENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Full UK driving licence
• CCTV Licence
• SG/DS licence

INTERVIEW REQUIREMENTS:

• Eligibility documents needed at interview: Passport or Full Birth Certificate; Utility Bill showing current address and dated within 3 months; Proof of National Insurance (Payslips cannot be used) such as NI card, P45, P60, benefits or HMRC letter.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• You must be able to provide a checkable 5-year employment and address history for vetting purposes (this can include full-time education or periods when claiming benefits).
