PAY RATE:

£12.21 per hour

WORKING PATTERN:

Fri,Sat and Sun 2200-0600

THE ROLE:

We are looking for professional, customer service focused Security Officer to join our team. Providing excellent customer services, ensuring a safe and secure environment for our client’s customers and staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Acting as first point of contact for queries.
  • Controlling access and egress to the site
  • Liaising with building tenants, contractors and visitors
  • Responding to all incidents; assisting in emergencies and evacuations
  • Maintaining security equipment
  • Conducting patrols
  • Managing keys
  • Writing reports and maintaining good records.

SKILLS:

  • You must be capable of dealing with a variety of situations in a calm and professional manner.
  • You will have strong customer service focused attention to detail and the initiative to both identify and implement best practice.
  • You are able to communicate clearly and effectively, attaining a good standard of verbal and written English.
  • You have good organisational and record-keeping skills.
  • You are IT literate and able to use Microsoft Office applications.
  • You are well-presented at all times

LICENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • You must have a current SIA Frontline Licence.
  • Possession of a First Aid at Work Certificate is desirable.

INTERVIEW REQUIREMENTS:

  • Eligibility documents needed at interview: Passport or Full Birth Certificate; Utility Bill showing current address and dated within 3 months; Proof of National Insurance (Payslips cannot be used) such as NI card, P45, P60, benefits or HMRC letter.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • You must be able to provide a check-able 5-year employment history for vetting purposes (this can include full-time education or periods in receipt of benefits).
