Dual Service Security and Cleaning

PAY RATE:

£14.04 per hour

HOURS:

41hrs per week

THE ROLE:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Dual Service Security and Cleaning professional. This unique role combines essential cleaning duties with vital security responsibilities to ensure a safe and clean environment for both staff and the public.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform general cleaning tasks, including emptying bins and maintaining cleanliness throughout the premises.
• Operate cleaning machines such as ride-on sweepers, walking scrubber dryers, and jet washers to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and report any equipment issues to management.
• Ensure the protection of public, staff, and property through vigilant monitoring and proactive security measures.
• Provide excellent customer service, assisting visitors and staff as needed.
• Respond promptly to incidents and report any suspicious activity to the appropriate authorities.

SKILLS:

• Previous experience in cleaning and security preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

LICENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• You must have a current SIA DS Licence.
• CCTV Licence is desirable
• Possession of a First Aid at Work Certificate and/or Fire Marshal is desirable.

INTERVIEW REQUIREMENTS:

• Eligibility documents needed at interview: Passport or Full Birth Certificate; Utility Bill showing current address and dated within 3 months; Proof of National Insurance (Payslips cannot be used) such as NI card, P45, P60, benefits or HMRC letter.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• You must be able to provide a checkable 5-year employment and address history for vetting purposes (this can include full-time education or periods when claiming benefits).
