ZSL London Zoo.

Transforming the security delivery at ZSL London Zoo.

About

the partnership.

Established in 1828, ZSL London Zoo is the world’s oldest scientific zoo, housing a collection of 698 species of animals with 20,166 individuals, making it one of the largest collections in the UK.

Due to the sheer size and diverse nature of the site (36 acres) that welcomes over one million visitors per year, the client needed to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment to its staff and visitors at all times.

By gaining a full understanding of the client’s environment and its unique risks, we designed a robust security solution that ensures the right balance between customer service and security implementation. Over the years, we developed strong partnerships with the local police, working together to detect and prevent any potential terror threats to the site.

At the heart of our successful partnership with the client are our security officers; a dedicated team of highly trained security professionals who understand their dual role and deliver it with enthusiasm and pride, ensuring that all visitors have a safe and enjoyable visit to what remains one of London’s most popular attractions.
