PAY RATE:

£12.60 per hour

WORKING PATTERN:

Working over a 3-week shift pattern
3 days on, 2 off, 3 nights on, 1 day off. 4 days on, 2 off, 4 nights on 3 off.
12 hours shifts from 0700hrs to 1900hrs

THE ROLE:

We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Corporate Security Officer for the Telferton area in Edinburgh EH7 area.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Patrolling.
  • Controlling access and egress.
  • Monitoring internal CCTV systems and site alarms.
  • Manning gatehouse and booking in visitors.
  • Dealing with customer enquiries.
  • Assisting with the gatehouse duties.
  • Supporting the site’s management team.
  • Issuing keys and other ad-hoc duties.

SKILLS:

  • Must have very good communication skills in both oral and written English.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills
  • Must have good organisational and record keeping skills
  • Must always be well presented
  • Must have the ability to communicate at all levels, with both internal and external clients.

LICENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have hold a Front-Line SIA Licence
  • Must hold a UK driving licence with access to own vehicle
  • CCTV licence is desirable
  • First Aid certificate is desirable

INTERVIEW REQUIREMENTS:

  • Eligibility documents needed at interview: Passport or Full Birth Certificate; Utility Bill showing current address and dated within 3 months;Proof of National Insurance (Payslips cannot be used) such as NI card, P45, P60, benefits or HMRC letter

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5-year check-able employment history for vetting purposes (this can include full-time education or periods in receipt of benefits).
