THE ROLE:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Contract Manager to lead and develop a high-performing team in line with Amulet’s core values. This role is pivotal in driving profitable growth and delivering exceptional service to our rail client.

As Contract Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring operational excellence, client satisfaction, and team development on the contract. You will also contribute to broader business initiatives that support service innovation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Line management of contract personnel
  • Overseeing day-to-day contract operations
  • Rostering and deployment planning, including events and additional cover
  • Recruitment and onboarding of contract personnel
  • Coordinating training and development for the Security Team
  • Managing client relationships and ensuring service delivery standards
  • Handling complaints and conducting incident investigations
  • Supervising planned security operations
  • Conducting regular site visits and compliance checks
  • Managing uniform and equipment logistics
  • Attending weekly, monthly, and quarterly client meetings
  • Engaging with hub and depot management teams during monthly reviews

SKILLS:

  • Proven experience in contract or operations management within the security sector
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to operational challenges
  • Commitment to compliance, quality, and continuous improvement

LICENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • MUST hold a valid Security Industry Authority Door Supervisor License
  • MUST be able to pass NPPV Level 2 Security Vetting
  • MUST be trained and pass an approved Railway Safety Accreditation Scheme course within 6 months of start date
  • Hold a valid Personal Track Safety (PTS) Medical or pass within 6 months of start date
  • Hold Personal Track Safety Training or pass within 6 months of start date

INTERVIEW REQUIREMENTS:

  • Eligibility documents helpful to bring with you to interview: Passport or Full Birth Certificate; Utility Bill showing current address and dated within 3 months; Proof of National Insurance (Payslips cannot be used) such as NI card, P45, P60, benefits or HMRC letter.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • You must be able to provide a check-able 5-year employment history for vetting purposes (this can include full-time education or periods in receipt of benefits). Possession of a First Aid at Work Certificate is desirable.
